Skippyjon Jones: In the Dog House

By: Judy Schachner

I like it when he jumps way up high in his bed. I like the pictures. I like it when his mama calls him funny names.

Machines at Work: Tractor

By: Caroline Bingham

I think this book is great because I like the tractor that picked up the manure. I also liked the picture of the monster tractors, but not the "Big Roy" tractor cause I don't like it. I like also the track racers. I liked a lot of this book!

P.J. Funnybunny Camps Out

By: Marilyn Sadler

I liked it when P.J. Funnybunny said no girls can go camping. I liked it when they heard "Booo" and got scared of the ghosts and dropped their flashlight. I like that it was scary but it didn't scare me. It was funny.

Little Pig

The one reason I didn't like it is because the little pig got stuck in cement near the end of the book. He thought every black puddle was mud.

The Illustrated Guide to Tractors

By: Peter Henshaw

I like tractors and I like tractor books. This book has a lot of pictures of tractors. There wasn’t much for me to read about because the book is for big people, but it’s a fun book to look at.

Just Like Dora

By: Alison Inches

This is a ready to read pre-level 1 book. Zoe loves this book. She brings it to different family members during the day and has them read it over and over. She must hear this book at least 10 – 12 times almost everyday. It is by far one of her favorite books, if not her very favorite.

If You Take a Mouse to School

By: Laura Numeroff

Zoe loves all books by Laura Numeroff. We have read this book 2 – 3 times already. All of her stories are very cute and entertaining.

Sesame Street: My First Book about Farms

By: Kama Einhorn

There’s a song to sing at the end and you sing about old MacGrover. I liked learning about milk and the foods you make with it. I also liked the pictures of the tractor and the combine.
